Mont Rest Inn

On Christmas Eve of December 1996, Mont Rest was in a devastating fire that destroyed the historic building. Fire fighters from five towns were called in to battle the blaze and more than 200,000 gallons of water were poured onto the structure. The owner, Christine Zraick, had the Victorian mansion rebuilt and today it is one of the finest bed and breakfasts in the country.
