The Great River Room

In the north tower of the mansion the view from one of its three over-sized windows is nothing short of spectacular.

The Great River Room is at the top of the ornate oak dining room stairwell. The bedroom is in mahogany Empire furnishings with a four-poster queen size bed.

Decorated in French blues, golds and whites, it is a favorite with our regular guests. The bathroom is a wonderful collage of Victorian ceramic Victorian rope and fleur tiles.  It has a neo-angle two-person whirlpool bath, double showers and a late 1800’s marble top corner antique lavatory sink.  The beveled glass window reflects the prismatic color on the walls which will make you feel like spending hours soaking in the tub. A working seasonal fireplace completes this well-appointed suite.
