The Private Room

Around the corner of the back dining oak stairwell, down the end of the hall and at the last hallway stop before the Boardwalk breezeway, is the fantastic Private Room.

This charming suite has a seasonal working antique slate fireplace, a brass king size bed under a mammoth beveled glass window that sprays refracted lighted rainbows all over the bedroom walls in late afternoon. An oak clawfoot tub & shower is in the well-appointed Victorian bath. One of the many attributes of this suite is the rooms’ private balcony cantilevered directly over the north stone wall that is nestled back in the forest. Enjoy a private viewing of deer, eagles and fireflies in the forest depending on when you visit the mansion.
