Mont Rest Inn / Policies

Check-in time is after 3:30 P.M. and check out is Noon. Early and late check-ins are based on availability. There is an additional fee of $40 for all check-ins prior to 3:30 P.M. and departures after 12 P.M. We regret we cannot honor any check ins prior to 2 P.M..

Your Murder Mystery activities will begin at 5:30 P.M.. Costumes are provided. You do not have to bring anything however, you are welcome to bring your favorite pair of dress shoes!

Mont Rest is a non-smoking Inn. We do provide verandas, patios and balconies.

Because of the historic nature and valuable antiques in all the rooms, including the bedrooms, Mont Rest will not allow coolers to be brought in. We provide a large selection of beverages and a guest kitchen you have 24 hour access to.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Items

Any damaged or missing items in the guest rooms will be the responsibility of the registered guest. Credit Card of the registered guest will be charged for any missing or damaged items. This hotel is not responsible for any stolen or lost items. In the event of an issue contact a Staff Member immediately at 563-872-4220.

Mont Rest Cancellation Policy

Mont Rest Cancellation Policy: We honor last minute reschedules for Illness or Emergency. Please contact us at 563-872-4220. We will issue you a certificate to use for a future date. All reservations are nonrefundable.

You are welcome to reserve up to one year in advance. Please note the expiration date on your certificate, if your certificate is past the expiration date we will honor the dollar value paid only.

In the event of inclement weather, if the roads are untravelable we will reschedule.
