Check-in time is after 3:30 P.M. and check out is Noon.  Early and late check-ins are based on availability.  There is an additional fee of $40 for all check-ins prior to 3:30 P.M. and departures after 12 P.M.  We regret we cannot honor any check ins prior to 2 P.M.. 

 

Your Murder Mystery activities will begin at 5:30 P.M.. Costumes are provided.  You do not have to bring anything however, you are welcome to bring your favorite pair of dress shoes! 

 

Mont Rest is a non-smoking Inn.  We do provide verandas, patios and balconies. 

 

Because of the historic nature and valuable antiques in all the rooms, including the bedrooms, Mont Rest will not allow coolers to be brought in.  We provide a large selection of beverages and a guest kitchen you have 24 hour access to.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Items

Any damaged or missing items in the guest rooms will be the responsibility of the registered guest.  Credit Card of the registered guest will be charged for any missing or damaged items. This hotel is not responsible for any stolen or lost items. In the event of an issue contact a Staff Member immediately at 563-872-4220.

Mont Rest Cancellation Policy

(Strictly Enforced)

You may cancel up to 30 days ahead of your scheduled arrival with no penalty.  If an emergency should arise and you have to cancel inside the 30 day cancellation period, please call us and we will try to resale your reservation.  If we resale your reservation, you will be allowed to reschedule on a space available basis.  If we are unable to resale your reservation, you will be held responsible for your reservation.  You are welcome to reserve up to one year in advance.  Due to the nature of our Corporate Retreat and Event (parties of 5 or more rooms) Packages, we are unable to refund any portion of deposits made for reservations.  Please call for further clarification or details of our policies.
