Mont Rest Inn

Breakfast is provided every morning at 9 am.  Breakfast includes a marvelous array of homemade pastries and breads, such as a cinnamon rolls, muffins, nut breads and yeast breads, fresh fruits and juices, quiches and other delectable egg dishes, breakfast meats, gourmet coffees, teas and hot cocoa. Menu varies depending on the time of year but we promise you a delightful morning dining experience.

All of our luxury rooms feature working fireplaces (seasonal), Jacuzzi whirlpool tubs, heated towel bars, towels, guest robes, hair dryers, and handmade chocolates. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages are available in our main floor kitchen and we offer such services as in-room therapeutic massage and reflexology. Sorry, but there is no smoking allowed in any rooms at Mont Rest. Smoking is only allowed outside the Inn at designated smoking areas.  Due to the COVID-19 virus the rooftop hot tub will be temporarily out of service.

Our concierge service includes reserving tee times at the Bellevue Country Club, arranging canoe trips on the Maquoketa River, dinner reservations in area restaurants, tickets to local sporting and theater events in the surrounding areas and other information on tourist related activities. Mont Rest is close to several large floating gambling facilities and ski resorts.  Galena is under an hour away and Mont Rest offers a luxurious alternative and a pleasant change to the typical Galena bed and breakfast experience.
